And the baby of the family

Reason 5…Robbie

Simply having a blast!

Our sweet surprise…we thought we were done after three boys and no girl in sight when along came Robbie. Still no girl but I wouldn’t change my four little men for all the world.

Robbie is a sweet, happy little guy and my third red-head…guess there was a dominate red-haired Scot somewhere on my family tree. He started walking at 10 months and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. He has a laugh like “Tickle Me Elmo” and likes to share it along with a big grin.

He does his very best to keep up with the big kids and usually holds his own in most situations. But when he’s tired, he’s still my baby. The only thumb sucker of the bunch, I know I should work to wean him but it’s just so stinking sweet to see him snuggle in with a thumb in his mouth.

His vocabulary is growing in leaps and bounds. Frequently saying the usual Mama, Dada stuff he has recently started saying:

* phone though it sounds more like “bone”
* ball which sounds more like “bowl”
* play minus the “l”
* with that sounds like “widt”
* the pronounced “da”

His most complete sentence to-date: “pay widt da bone”

And boy does he get mad if you don’t let him “pay widt da bone” LOL

Being the forth boy, Robbie has bypassed a lot of the baby play. Never one for the rattles and such he went straight for the Matchbox cars and Thomas trains and sometimes has borne the scrapes and bruises because of it. Still haven’t gotten around to getting a one-year portrait of him because of the above.

Can’t wait to see the personality of this lil guy develop.
