The Canadian Claw. We've watched a lot of Olympics while here, more than we had at home, and while Mom and Dad are now US citizens, we've been cheering on Canada. Thus, Grandpa created the Canadian Claw game.
Goal, to tickle the boys silly.
Today, we went out to the old neighborhood. The boys got to play in the cul-de-sac with their old friends, and made some new ones.
I got to visit with some neighbors, just like old times. Man, I miss this neighborhood and these people! We truly were blessed with our own version of 'Mayberry' there.
It was a combination of a great mix of people and timing that had us at similar points in our lives. We waved to each other, chatted while collecting the mail, watched each other's children as they played in the cul-de-sac, and were more than just people brought together by the locations of our houses. Something very special.
