Three Columns = Sanity?

Well, what do you think? Do the three columns make it easier to find things, read, follow links *wink* and do other bloggy things?

I saved my old template if this one causes problems. Please be sure to leave comments...the good, the bad, the ugly. Thanks.

For me, the first thing I felt when scanning your "new" blog was that I felt it to be extremely busy. It made me feel like I was trying to read all 3 columns at once. I loved the layout you used before & I thought the links were very easy to find. It was perfectly laid-out (I thought), but this is just my opinion. If this lay-out is easier for you to use then use it.

I have to agree on one hand it does feel a bit busier. Ideally, I'd like to have the posts...as that's what I assume most of you are coming here for in the first place...on the left then two columns on the right for the other stuff. So far I haven't found a template I can use and I'm not computer savvy enough to work the HTML/XML things without a template of some kind.

Since I read you off a reader feed it doesn't make much difference for me. I like to read things in order of importance and from left to right.

I didn't have trouble navigating, but I had a hard time trying to figure out what you wanted me to see first. The only thing that stood out was the header.

--hope that helps.

How weird - when I went to your site, the 3 columns seemed quite organized with the blog in the middle.

I went into "comments" then went back to the blog & the format was completely different, not organized, more difficult to follow.

I exited from the site & re-opened it and it was the same. Maybe you were just working on it, I don't know. But the way I view it now doesn't seem as organized as it was when I first went to the site

As I recall, the center blog area was a different color and seemed to distinguish between the sidebars. Now everything is white and doesn't seem to flow as well.

My 2 cents as I see it now.

Love,
Mom
