A Little Summer Fun

I haven't been real good about posting family stuff...sorry.  We've been home-bodies lately so I haven't really been taking pictures.  The triple digits tend to do that to us.  The boys have been playing a lot of WII and Playstation games.  Cam and Alex have been doing a fair amount of reading...without my prompting.  Sports and movies on TV round out the last few weeks.

We played with some leftover sparklers one night, which got us thinking about what we might do for the 4th this year.  It's times like this that I really miss our old neighborhood and the summer gatherings.

We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores -- well, the boys and I did -- another night.  We're getting a lot of mileage out of our outdoor fireplace.






















Alex went to a birthday party a few weeks ago and we discovered a new water park. Yesterday, we packed up the boys, a lot of water and sunscreen, and headed to the park for the afternoon. Yep, this place beats our usual splash pads by a mile!
