We visited a new park and this one has a splash pad!
Today was also Alex's first reading class. I actually felt like I got some new tools so that alone was worth the price. Hopefully, Alex will benefit from it. He was all excited and in to the program for the first half of today's lesson. Then stubborn, I'm not going to co-operate with you, Alex appeared to wiggle, goof off, and frustrate me for the balance of the lesson. We've got 4 homework assignments this week we need to complete for next Friday's class. As each assignment is suppose to take about 45 minutes to an hour we may have to break things down into smaller more frequent periods...but that's a challenge we'll tackle tomorrow.

Such wonderful, vibrant, fun photos, Sherri!
Good luck with the reading lessons. As a teacher, I can tell you one of the most important things you can do to build a love of reading in your children is to read aloud to them--for the sheer fun of it.
