Robbie and Mark started the festivities off with an Angel game
complete with Cracker Jacks and beer LOL
We enjoyed the pool during the afternoon.
Ate a "traditional" dinner of hamburgers
with strawberry shortcake for dessert.
All in all, a quite and almost same-o kind of day.
Finally, it was dark enough to start the fireworks! Of course, sparklers are a must and everyone was impatient for Mark to light theirs.
I love Robbie's body language in this one...You can just tell he has a grin a mile wide on his face as he holds his sparkler for a light.

Robbie didn't like the screaming the finale made but was happy to watch from my lap.
The end of the street...one of the fireworks set off from one of the casinos. It was quite the show in and of itself. If it wasn't for cars coming down our street we could have set up chairs in the middle of the road to watch.
Robbie really fought coming in for the night. Once in, however, the fact that he didn't have a nap and it was way after his bedtime caught up with him and he was asleep on the floor in under five minutes!
