My Mother's Day

Was a quiet, rather same o' same o' kinda Sunday, with lots of handmade love from the boys and a nice dinner.

From Ian

The anklet and necklace are made out of fabric strips and beads using a macrame type knotting.  Very flower-child feeling :) Ian and Alex made them during art at school.

Robbie drew a picture and Cam made a card and Mark was home for dinner.  I chatted with Jewels, both Moms, and my sister.  A good Mother's Day all in all.

What lovely gifts the children made for you. They will mean a lot to you in years to come. I'm a relatively new visitor to your blog and I don't often comment, but I wanted you to know I was here and How much I enjoy visiting your blog. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary

It sounds like your Mother's Day had that comfortable feel, like your favorite old pair of shoes. It sounds cozy like your coveted spot on the sofa with your beloved blanket. Hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks Orlando. I hadn't really thought of it in those terms but that does fit :)
