A-B-C's and 1-2-3's

Cam started Robbie practicing his numbers this morning before leaving for school. Robbie did amazingly well and asked me to write out numbers to ten for him to copy. He wrote all the numbers though four were backwards. He was especially proud of his four *g*

Ian's big challenge in school has been his penmanship. See his finger placement?  No matter how often we show him how to correctly hold his pencils, he reverts back to this.  So I had him working on that.

Which had Robbie wanting to work on his letters. Writing out the whole alphabet overwhelmed him so we focused on just his name.

Proud moment when he got this.

He's not a lefty is he, Sherri?

I've always held my pencil funny too. Actually it looks like I've got a palsy. LOL.

Turns out I should have been a lefty, but the nuns forced me to write with my right.

I didn't mind since most of the world is right-sided, but it does hurt my hand now that I'm in my 'old' age.

Our oldest is a lefty just like hubby. I've tried Ian out with his left hand but he refuses. From the very earliest picking up of a crayon he's used his right. *shrugs*
