You are WAY more organized about your reading than I am. I am not worthy! ;-)

LOL, I'm not usually other than my spreadsheet, this monthly accounting is new this year.

I think it is so amazingly gracious of you to write a note to the author you're reading. It says a lot about you. :)

Thanks Maria, wish I'd come up with it by myself, LOL. If you look at the comments in that first post my friend George mentioned it. He even sends a note to the publisher (where applicable) and the cover artist!

Still, you actually do it, and that says a lot about you.

George here - Sorry about the deleted comments. I have no idea why my regular account isn't coming up.

Anyway, You rock! I suck this month...

I read the Comix Toolbox (adding comic overtones to stories) and sent the author a note.

I read Weird Michigan (haunted, weird or bizarre places to see in Michigan) and sent the publisher a note to forward to the authors

I read the first two Harry Potter books (YA fantasy and yes, I finally gave in and this is the first time I've read anything remotely Harry Potter). I sent NO note to the author. I thought I'd wait until the whole series was read, which might take me a while.

In lieu of being able to buy new e-books, (and in celebration of discovering the Harry Potter world) I read 28 "Snarry" (Harry Potter/Professor Serveus Snape) slash fan fics, ranging anywhere from 12k - 35K and left comments on all the stories. Let me state right here - I am totally in love with Professor Snape.

I did re-read the Bay City Paranormal M/M series back to back (6 e- books) by Ally Blue. I sent her a note again, because it's been a couple years since the last one. LOVE that series.

And I read 12 pirate books from the Juvenile section of the library for upcoming story ideas.

No American classic author for February - though I do have two picked out for March.

Now, I am off to find out what happened to George Allwynn's account...

Yay George! That's not a bad list at all. Still waiting for one of your stories though :)
