WiP Wednesday

Where's your novel at?

Day One saw mine 1644 words richer, which is just shy of the daily goal of 1667.  I'm rather happy with Day One ending on such a great note.

Day Two not so good and only saw 1010 words.  I don't know if it's new this year or if I just missed it last year but the NaNo site has a stats page...rather depressing to see it saying I'm 2 days behind and it's only the second day.

Here's to hoping Day Three is better and maybe a bit of a catch up.  Had a wee challenge with all the kids home for staff development or some such and out of school for 2 days.  3 of the 4 kiddos back in school all day, today.

Well, you're doing better than me. We're halfway through Day 3, and I have a whopping zero words. ;) I was having a fabulous vacation, though, so I guess I have an excuse.

Vacation? What's a vacation? Yeah, I'd say that's a good excuse Nicole.

Hang in there, Sherri - the month has barely started! I really don't like the new stats either (but I do like the graph that shows me where I need to be each day). Last night I was contemplating going to bed at a normal time with just a few hundred words, and it told me I was behind! Ack! I couldn't go to bed like that. Even though my bars were above the blue line on the graph...

Dangerous stuff, those stats.

LOL, Joely...I was able to catch up on Wednesday but I'm only going to post NaNo stuff once a week for now.

Thanks for stopping by...your wordage is blowing everyone I know out of the water!
