WiP Wednesday

HowlWriMo's June writing goal is to re-work the characters from Novembers' NaNoWriMo story. Still not sure how to track this. flesh out Andrea and Colin from Myra's story into main characters and come up with a plot.

  • 6/9 = nada
  • 6/10 = zilch
  • 6/11 = Amazon order of Tarot for Writers and Celtic Tarot Cards arrived. WOOT.
  • 6/12 = read through the book and played with the cards, got a possible piece to one of the characters
  • 6/13 = Brainstormed with BFF -- about a completely different story :headdesk:
  • 6/14 = 1342 words on the shiny new idea from Sunday
  • 6/15 = plotted out Sunday's shiny new idea with the Tarot cards -- not sure about the result yet
LOL, June's not going quite the way I'd hoped. Maybe my head is just spinning after all the writing last month.  So many ideas, so little time...

Do you read Tarot, Sherri? I've always been fascinated by it.

I don't Maria. It's one of those things that both fascinates me and freaks me out. I've heard a lot of authors say it's a great way to plot stories and discover details about characters.

During Coyote Con, Anna Black, offered to share her Tarot workshop from WisCon. So far she's only been able to post the pdf files. Hope she'll be able to do the workshop recap soon.

Anyway, I decided to bit the bullet so to speak. The book was a fast read, set up very reference friendly. The Tarot isn't quiet so freaky but I'm not sure I'd want to start reading it for personal stuff. For kicks and giggles maybe.
