Just a quiet...well as quiet as it can be with 4 boys in the house...Thanksgiving here at home.
The pies are baked. The stuffing is in the crockpot. The turkey is ready to go in the oven as soon as Cam's pudding comes out.
Once again Mark's eyes were bigger than all our tummies combined LOL It's just the 6 of us but we'll do our best to make a dent in the 19 pound turkey Mark brought home.
We started the morning with fresh cranberry-orange scones and tea...yummy.
On the menu today:
Turkey seasoned with nutmeg and apples & gravy
Harvest stuffing with apples, cranberries and walnuts
Brussels Sprouts with walnuts
Corn on the cob (for the boys LOL)
Sweet Indian Pudding (see recipe a couple posts down)
Rolls
Topped off with Pumpkin pie
Yummy in the tummy...Hope everyone has a wonderful, thankful day!
